Women's Only Jiu Jitsu Classes

Classes are 2 times per week for 1.15 hour. Tuesday (No Gi)7:30 p.m. and Saturdays (Gi) 9:00 a.m
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that builds a sense of empowerment and confidence in females with its self-defense techniques. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu helps females avoid dangerous situations and empowers them with simple escape techniques. It is designed to teach a female to defend herself against her attacker, whether she is on her feet or on the ground.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can strengthen females mentally and physically. By training Jiu-Jitsu, females can continually expose themselves to challenging and uncomfortable positions. This will help to prepare them should they be put in a vulnerable position to avoid panicking and freezing and to be able to work to defend themselves.
Females who are accustomed to grappling and doing battle with trained fighters several times a week are far less likely to panic when being threatened by an untrained punk.
Other benefits include weight loss and getting in shape, stress relief, making friends, problem solving skills and just having fun while doing it.
