Our Self Defense Work shops are generally 3 hours long, however can be customized to meet your needs.
Our curriculum consists of:
30 Minute Basic Violence Awareness Presentation (can be customized to meet industry or personal needs)
30-45 Minute Verbal Jiu JItsu Play (De-escalation tactics)
15 Minute Break
1.5-2 hour Physical Defense Techniques to include escapes from common grabs and holds on the ground and standing. Defense blocks and strikes.
Our mission is to help you build self confidence , gain knowledge and practice avoidance and defense techniques to survive should you encounter a violent or dangerous situation. When the body is in fight or flight mode you will only be able to perform SIMPLE, BASIC moves with the main goal being SURVIVAL. Not everyone has the time or the desire to take up a traditional martial arts program. Our program is designed by women for women with moves designed for women’s bodies.
We believe in taking the most effective techniques from multiple martial arts programs such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Krav Maga, Kickboxing, Boxing and Wrestling and integrating them in our curriculum. In order to defend yourself you need to be prepared for an attack in as many situations as possible.
